ABOUT

Barry’s high-intensity interval training is renowned for its unparalleled energy. By combining its signature “Red Room,” carefully curated playlists, and top instructors, it has built a following huge enough to fill 80+ locations worldwide.


Problem

With the hit of the pandemic in 2020, Barry’s started looking for an alternative remote solution to help their fans stay fit and motivated. The task was to bring the legendary HIIT workouts online.


SOLUTION = Barry’s X

Community-driven digital fitness product that seamlessly integrates key touchpoints of an in-person studio experience into a digital setting including a social networking feature that connects members of the global Barry’s community.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

UX Product Manager | Digital HQ

Collaborated with the API engineers and third-party logistics to optimize inventory flow for studio managers ordering in-store merchandise via custom Middleware.

Tested the use cases for each tier of the Academy loyalty program in collaboration with the MasterCard team. Translated user feedback from interviews and surveys to product and marketing teams.

Participated in live class production, functionality testing, and brainstorming challenges for the iOS app and desktop.
